History

A Letter from TCC Founder, Don Land.

The Thai Cannabis Corporation Ltd. got its start in 2010 because of Dr. Weerachai Nanakorn, Secretary General of the Crown Property Bureau and Vice President of the Siam Society, who at the time was appointed by the Queen of Thailand to be the Queens Regent and Director of the Queens Royal Hemp-Cannabis Project.

My relationship with Dr Weerachai at the time was to help and assist as he needed.  One of the tasks was to create a business plan for Hemp and then Medical Cannabis at a time when it was highly illegal by the laws of the Thai Government.

Those Business plans were confirmed to be reasonable and in keeping with His Royal Majesty King Bhumibol’s New Theory of Sustainability, His Majesty's 200 year plan for the Kingdom of Thailand.

Due to this, on December 9th 2010 for the first time in the History of Thailand with support from the Palace, the Thai Cannabis Corporation was created to advance the Royal Will into legal realization on a National Scale, and to be an economic engine model to supplement the Sustainable Smart Farm 4.0 Initiative.

Our first iteration was to promote the Royal Will and to advocate Hemp and Cannabis at Maximum Utility into the SF4.0 initiative to effect change in reducing poverty in rural areas.  We interfaced with the governments of 54 provinces, in person, resulting in me being recognized as a Professor by the Ministry of Education.  This was needed, because lobbying is illegal in The Kingdom, thus as Chairman of TCC and a Professor I could represent, I was and am not, a lobbyist in the Kingdom.

Dr. Weerachai Nanakorn, Secretary General of the Crown Property Bureau, Dr Virot Sumyai Commissioner of the National Cannabis Commission, and Don Land TCC Founder

Our second iteration was to be of service as a think tank to aid and assist governments throughout the Kingdom of Thailand and to give lectures and presentations. Our third iteration was expanded to aid and support the Governments of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bhutan to share information and technology to assist them in forming a ASEAN Union jurisdiction and legal code and to encourage each member state to change its respective laws to encourage commerce.  Our fourth iteration was to receive the blessings of the Buddhist Clergy of the Sangha Council, that Cannabis is Medicine.  I have accomplished this, resulting in my appointment as administrator of all business affairs related and Ordained as a Grand Monks Advisor throughout all the Buddhist World.

From Left to Right; TCC Founder Don Land, Dr. Weerachai Nanakorn Secretary General of the Crown Property Bureau, & Dr Virot Sumyai Commissioner of the National Cannabis Commission.

Don receiving his appointment to be Grand Monk administrator from Phra Maha Arjan Khwanchai Akchayo, Grand Monk & Abbott of Wat Khiriwong (Wat Nam Tok).

I am woven into the fabric of this society for the dedication and effort I have contributed to a Royal standard as well as a spiritual standard in keeping with the Buddhist faith.

When it comes to Cannabis in its many possibility's and commercial appeal, nothing is beyond me and no doors are closed.

His Royal Majesty, King Bhumibol's Adulyadej’s comment to me when conducting the signing ceremony of giving birth to Thai Cannabis Corporation with his representative on December 9th 2010 was, “Help the farmer-help the farmer-help the farmer”.  For a King to repeat himself three times is an expression of resolve and will very rarely ever be conveyed.  To do it, to act upon that is Royal empowerment conveyed.

To Reduce Poverty, To Reduce Human Suffering, To Inspire Rural Poor to apply the New Theory and Thailand 4.0 to cannabis farming- To Increase Living Standards and improve the economy.

Khamnan Luk Sai ; Don Land
Chairman Thai Cannabis Corporation.
